With Easter falling at the tail end of spring break for families in South Florida, it’s the perfect year to do something ‘eggs-tra’ special, and Jungle Island has just the ticket.
Jungle Island's Annual Easter Eggstravaganza
Friday, March 29th through Sunday, March 31st
Three days of ‘egg-citement’ can be found at Jungle Island for their annual Easter Eggstravaganza, the longest running Easter event in South Florida. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, bring your gang to hunt for over 50,000 eggs, filled with over 800 pounds of candy, toys and all kinds of prizes! In addition to the massive Easter egg hunt, there will be pie-eating contests that you can participate in (or just watch!), arts and crafts that the kids can make and take home, exciting animal encounters, and bounce houses, too. And no Easter event would be complete without an elephant ride, right? Come meet Judy, their pachyderm friend, at La Playa Beach (onsite) and take a ride, get a photo or just say hello.
Adult admission is $34.95 and kids are only $5 with a paying adult. One entry into the Egg Hunt is included with a child admission or a $2 donation to the Miss Millie Foundation. For tickets, visit www.jungleisland.com/easter or call 305-400-7000.
