With Easter being in March this year it's coming up around the corner. And there are Easter Bunny sightings, egg hunts, and more ways to celebrate in Tulsa:
Promenade Mall- The Easter Bunny will be arriving via Carriage March 9, 2013 at 1:30p.m. outside of the El Chico entrance weather permitting. There will also be some Wizard of Oz characters to join in for more Easter fun and activities and even a hot air balloon. For more information please see their website.
Woodland Hills Mall- You can also see the Easter Bunny here and get pictures with him now until March 30 during mall hours -of course there will be some bunny breaks as well. Please see their website for more information/ contacts.
Tulsa Parks-
Easter Egg Hunts: Hicks Park March 21, 6p.m. for ages 9-11. Bring a basket and search for candy and goodies -Please call to pre register.
Reed Park March 26, 6:30p.m. for ages 2-10. Hunt for candy in the park and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Event is free but, canned food donations are accepted.
Lacy Park March 28, 6:30p.m. for ages 1-12. Bring a container and hunt for eggs filled with candy and toys. Event is free but, canned food donations are accepted.
Chamberlain Park March 28, 6p.m. Flashlight Easter egg hunt for all ages. And a reguler Easter egg hunt March 30, 12p.m. for ages 2-12. Bring a container and hunt for eggs, candy and prizes.
In addition to the egg hunts there's also:
Breakfast with Bunny: At Whiteside park March 22, 10a.m. For ages 2-5 cost is $7 and must pre-enroll. Have a fun filled breakfast,games, and visit with the Easter Bunny.
Egg Dying Contest: At Hicks park March 26, 5p.m. For ages 6-11 -must bring 1 dozen hard boiled eggs and pre-register.
Jelly Bean Hunt: At Lacy park March 26, 7-8p.m. For ages 3-9 -Children will hunt for jelly beans, each jelly bean is assigned a point value- parents will assist in counting the points. The child with the most points wins a prize.

Tulsa Zoo- Zoobilee March 30, 9a.m. This event is exclusive for zoo members and advanced tickets are $5. The "penguin egg" hunt is for ages 4-12 with over 15,000 eggs. Younger children can partcipate in the "chick egg" hunt. Other actvities include arts & crafts, pictures with Peter Cottontail, and more.
