If you are looking for a fast and easy Easter dessert for this weekend, I have the perfect recipe for you. I found this idea for Easter egg Rice Crispie treats on Pinterest and it quickly became the most repined recipe I have on my board. It is so easy to make, and very cute for kids or adults!

You start with your basic Rice Crispie recipe and instead of putting the mixture into a pan, you put it into plastic Easter eggs. Just let it sit for a minute or two and pop it out and you have Easter egg Rice Crispie treats!

Rice Crispie Eggs (recipe from Best Holiday Recipes)
1/4 cup butter
10 oz marshallows
5 cups Rice Crispies

Melt butter and marshmallows over medium heat in a sauce pan. Once the butter and marshmallows are melted, add 5 cups of Rice Crispies cereal. I also added a few sprinkles to make the eggs more festive. Once the mixture is combined, spray plastic Easter eggs with cooking spray. I used eggs that split vertically. Spoon the cereal mixture into each half of the egg then close egg to form shape. Pop cereal out after a few minutes.
