Easter egg hunts in the Littleton, Colo. area

The sure signs of Spring are upon us: warmer and longer days mixed with the occasional blizzard, hints of green in the grass and, of course, Easter candy in the grocery stores. To make this Easter memorable for your kids, take them on an Easter egg hunt. There are plenty to choose from in the Denver area, including these in or around Littleton:

It's sure to be a fun day for the kids.  And to make sure it's fun for you, too, don't forget to:

  • Spend some time picking out Easter baskets (don't wait until the last minute)
  • Charge up the video camera the day before the event
  • Pack food and drinks for everyone
  • Check the weather forecast and pack appropriate clothing for everyone
  • And most important, stop and enjoy your children's faces as they hunt for eggs!

Happy Easter!

Is this hunt for parents or children?? Would not recommend going to this event - understand it is a free event, but not even worth it for free! We attended for the first time this year with our 18 month old and she was not the only child to walk away with NO eggs. Shame on the parents as well that RAN to the eggs before the announcer even started the event and to not teach their kids about sharing, rather taught them to be selfish and take as many eggs as they could get. The sponsors should have really planned this better to tell everyone to take no more than 10 eggs and have so many children leave empty handed was awful. Thankfully our child was not old enough to be dissapointed this year. We will definately not go again. If you go, BRING YOUR OWN EGGS or risk a dissapointed child!
