Easter egg hunts in Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Marietta and Sugar Hill

Easter falls on Sunday, March 31 in 2013, but several cities and towns on the north side of Atlanta are holding their annual Easter egg hunts this weekend to celebrate the holiday. 2013 Easter egg hunt in Johns Creek
The City of Johns Creek's 2013 Easter egg hunt takes place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at Newtown Park. The event is sponsored by the Johns Creek Recreation and Parks Department and features a moonwalk, face painting, a petting zoo, and a photo op with the Easter Bunny. 2013 Easter egg hunt in Alpharetta
The City of Alpharetta's annual children's Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 at North Park. It’s co-sponsored by the Recreation and Parks Department and the Alpharetta Golden Age Club and is free for children age 3-10. Kids will be divided in age groups as they hunt for thousands of eggs filled with prizes and candy. Pre-hunt activities include face painting, inflatables and a photo op with the Easter Bunny. 2013 Easter Egg Scramble in Marietta
Cobb County’s largest Easter egg hunt takes place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at Laurel Park. The hunt is sponsored by the Marietta Parks and Recreation Department and features plenty of great candy and fun prizes for all. Parents and kids can also visit with the Easter Bunny and take a photo. The Easter eggstravaganza will break out different age groups and award prizes at each level. Families in Sugar Hill are invited to the 2013 Easter egg hunt that takes place on Saturday, March 23 from 12-3 p.m. at EE Robinson Park . The hunt is open to children age 3-10 and kids must bring their own baskets. Afternoon activities include age-specific egg hunts, refreshments and photos with the Easter Bunny.
