Easter egg hunts for 2011

  • Easter Eggstravaganza – Saturday, April 16th at the Ken-Ton Family YMCA, 535 Belmont Ave. in Kenmore from 1 to 3 p.m. Event will feature an Easter egg hunt, bounce house, snacks, crafts, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Pre-registration (716-874-5051) is $4 for non-members, $2 for members; on the day of the event registration is $6 for non-members, $4 for members.
  • Brierwood’s Bunny Brunch – Sunday, April 17th from noon to 2 p.m. at Brierwood Country Club, 5324 Rogers Rd. in Hamburg. Brunch features breakfast items and dessert stations; there will also be face painting, an Easter egg hunt, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Reservations are required for this event ($13 for adults); visit www.brierwoodcc.com for more information.
  • SEAster Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 23rd at the Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool St. in Niagara Falls. Take part in the only underwater egg hunt in Western New York, with “SEAster” eggs hidden among the exhibits; kids will also meet the SEAster Bunny and the Aquarium’s mascot Beaker the Penguin.   • The Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 23rd at 11 a.m. at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. in Buffalo. Take part in the Easter egg hunt, a scavenger hunt, and games, visit the petting zoo, and more; “hunters” are also admitted into the Spring Flower Show ($8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55+).
