Easter dinner is upon us again and for those who celebrate it's time to put down the wine and pick up some good beer!
Easter dinner at our house has always involved ham. We are a crazy German/Dutch group of people and the world knows Germans are crazy for ham. For a German option I always reach for a Paulaner Salvator to go with said ham. Or you can take a short trip to Belgium for some inspiration. Tripples and Saisons are good choices as well. The reason why Belgium beers go well is that they are carbonated at a higher rate and are normally lower hopped beers with a little spiciness to them.
For those peeps try them with a good Pilsner type brew. Carrot cake & chocolate? They demand a good Russian Imperial stout.
