Families or couples looking for a memorable way to celebrate Easter should check out the special Easter getaway package deals being offered by Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio on Easter weekend (March 29-31). Huron, Ohio is located one hour west of Cleveland, just a few miles from Cedar Point Amusement Park.
Easter Getaway Packages Guests will have the choice of a one night package or a 2 night package. The one night deal includes a deluxe guest room on Saturday, March 30, a $50 voucher for dinner for two at the Resort's Salmon Run restaurant on Saturday evening and the Easter Brunch for two on Sunday. The cost of the one night package is $199 plus tax for two and $269 plus tax based on a family of four.
The two night package includes a deluxe guest room for Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, a $50 voucher for dinner for two at Salmon Run on Saturday and the Easter Brunch for two on Sunday. Cost of the two night package is $298 plus tax for two people and $359 plus tax based on the family of four.
Activities for hotel guests (with packages) include an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning (at 10 a.m.) for the children of guests with an appearance by the Easter Bunny himself. Caricature drawings by Shawn Carroll will be available for purchase.
Guests can also enjoy the wildlife at Sheldon Marsh as you stroll the trail adjacent to the resort. For those of you who like to shop, be sure to receive your coupon for the Sawmill Creek Shops from the hostess at the Easter Sunday Brunch.
You don't have to be a guest at the Resort to enjoy Easter Brunch but reservations are required. Guests with package deals must also make reservations for the Brunch. The Easter Brunch will be served in the Resort's Wilderness Hall from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Brunch includes a Salad Station( featuring a Green Goddess Salad and a Caesar Salad), a Breakfast Station (waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage), a Carving Station (roast top sirloin of beef, baked ham with fruit sauce, roast turkey, Chicken Forestierre, Pork Loin La Creme, lamb with mint sauce, seafood creole with rice), a Pasta Station where you can create your own dish and a Dessert Station (tortes, pies, trifle, chocolate mousse in a chocolate shell and "Make Your Own Sundae").
