Easter is almost here. Children have a lot of fun making Easter crafts. These crafts can be used to decorate the home or as gifts for others. The following is an easy Easter egg craft that children will have fun making.

Materials:

Not a lot of materials are needed to make this craft. Some of the items that are used to put this craft together may already be available at home. Other supplies can be purchased at the Bangor Dollar Tree stores or A.C. Moore. The following materials are needed to make this craft:

Large craft foam Easter eggs

Craft foam Easter stickers and/ or regular Easter stickers

Buttons

Markers

Glue

Magnet tape (optional)

Directions:

This is a fun and easy craft for children to make. Very young children should be supervised while working on this craft because the buttons can be a choking hazard. The following are the directions for this craft:

  • Choose a work area. Place the materials on the surface of the work area within reach of the child.
  • The eggs can be decorated in any way that the child wants. The markers can be used to draw designs onto the eggs. Stickers can be stuck onto the eggs randomly or in patterns. Buttons can be glued to the eggs. They can be used as polka dots or used to make a pattern. This craft is finished when the child likes the egg he or she has decorated.
  • Once the eggs are finished they can hung throughout the home or used as Easter gifts. Magnet tape can be placed on the backs of the eggs and they can be used as refrigerator decorations.
