Easter Bunny Train Rides at Strasburg Railroad

The Easter Bunny Train returns ones more to the Strasburg Railroad beginning March 29.

Take a ride with Peter Cottontail and make precious family memories or introduce your kids to old-time trains on a vintage steam train through scenic farmland. The Easter Bunny Train runs from March 29-31, 2013 with trains departing daily from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Fridays. On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, trains depart hourly from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.. Meet and take photos with Peter Cottentail and receive an Easter surprise as he greets them on board this special 45-minute train ride thorough Lancaster County.

Pack an Easter picnic basket and get off the train at Groff’s Grove to eat and make use of the playground area. Ride on the Dining Car and experience the Hobo Lunch during the train ride or stop by the Trackside Café at the station for a tasty meal. Back at the station guests can enjoy the “fun extras” included in the ticket price. Families can take a ride on the miniature Cagney steam train, and wear kids out as they steer the hand-powered Cranky Cars around a track.

Ticket prices range from $3-26 and can be pre-purchased at www.StrasburgRailRoad.com or by calling 717-687-7522. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket window. Check them out on Facebook at Facebook.com/StrasburgRailRoad and Twitter @StrasburgRR.
