Itty Bitty Bites Educational Materials for Children
Cartoon heros such as Ghett Active, Chef Fresh, Farmer Diggit, Bea Active, and Ranchhand Rita battle against villians High Fructose Fred, Transfat Tina and Artificial Artie on activity sheets, trading cards and in a comic book series to teach children about healthy food choices. When kids order an Itty Bitty Bites Kid's Healthy Meal™ at Earth Fare Cafes, the meal includes three hero or villian trading cards and a healthy message sticker.
The Itty Bitty Bites Kid’s Healthy Meal™
Making choices is an important aspect of fighting obesity. When kids order an Itty Bitty Bites Kid’s Healthy Meal™,
they choose one main dish, a fresh side item, one snack and a nutricious drink from the plentiful menu. Main dish choices include traditional kids foods - peanut butter and jelly roll up and turkey provolone roll up, but also offer items such as a veggie hummus roll up.
The Itty Bitty Bites Kid’s Healthy Meal™ offers healthy choices at no more cost than visiting a fast food restaurant. Kid's meals at Earth Fare are $3.99 and are free on Earth Fare's Family Dinner Night, Thursday evenings (4 - 8pm)with the purchase of an adult meal.
