Earth Day 2010 and Green Columbus

Green Columbus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable living in Central Ohio and globally. Their strategies for fulfilling this promise are to providing forums, raise awareness and encourage action.

Last weekend Green Columbus worked on various environmental service projects around central Ohio and today, on Earth Day, they are celebrating! 

After three years at Goodale Park, the citywide Earth Day celebration moved to Franklin Park. The festival celebrating their accomplishments is today from 3p-10p.

Both Green Columbus, and Franklin Park Conservatory are excited about collaborating for the 40th anniversary observance of Earth Day in central Ohio. The celebration will feature speakers, including Mayor Michael B. Coleman, live music, local and organic food, informational booths, kids’ activities and much more. Visit the website for details on the day.
