There is a saying that love is blind. That means that when you are in love you don't notice the red flags. Statistics say that teen violence is going up. It's not only teens that are victims of abuse but other women as well. Here are red flags that shows you are on your way to being a victim of relationship abuse:
1) He criticizes you. It is a form of emotional abuse. A guy that cares about you will not do anything to hurt you or your feelings.
2) He hits a wall or throws things when he is mad. Everyone gets mad now and then but if he treats others bad or gets mad a lot soon he will treat you bad.
3) He invades your privacy. When someone loves you they trust you. If he goes through your phone or e-mails when he has no reason too, it's bad.
4) He starts to get controlling. If he tells you what to wear or what to do you are on your way to trouble. Someone who loves you respects your decisions and once again trusts you.
If your significant other has done any of these things than get out now. Trust me it will get worse before it gets better. You deserve someone who is gentle and will treat you right.
