A lunch time Straw Poll conducted half a block from a polling location in Roslyn provided the below answers. We made sure to stay near enough to see the foot traffic entering and exiting the building, but not so close as to interfere.

Out of 35 people, 19 (12 male and 7 female) agreed to answer the poll.

1. Are you a registered voter? If so, to which party do you belong?

            a. Democratic - 6

            b. Republican - 9

            c. Independent - 3

            d. Other - 1 (Green)

2. Did you vote strictly along party lines?

            a. Yes - 2

            b. No - 17

3. What are your thoughts about the Tea Party movement?

            a. Favorable - 6

            b. Unfavorable - 9

            c. None - 4

4. Did you vote today the way you planned before going into the polling station?

            a. Yes - 19

            b. No - 0

There were no specific comments made about the questions by those polled other than a person who spoke favorably of the Tea Party remarked that they had attended Glenn Beck's rally earlier this year.
