It's that time again - early Spring - get your walking shoes and tote bag packed and grab your best firend to check out what's new in the gardening world. Gardeners in the U.S. and Canada have choices among very commercial home and garden shows, community aand horticulture society-oriented competition shows, and symposia which show off and teach us how to use new plant cultivars as well as new accoutrements. The 27th Annual Texas Home & Garden Show gives attendees the opportunity to investigate the newest home and garden products. - Friday and Saturday, February 8‐9, 10:00 a.m.‐7:30 p.m., and Sunday, February 10, 10:00 a.m.‐5:00 p.m. The 2013 Oregon Association of Nurseries’ (OAN) annual Yard, Garden & Patio Show, presented by Dennis’ 7 Dees Landscaping and Garden Centers at the Oregon Convention will feature garden designs from numerous historic and modern eras, along with celebrity landscape designer and star of DIY’s “Extra Yardage” Billy Derian. - March 2, 2013, Boston, MA; March 23, 2013, Chicago, IL; and April 20, 2013, Vancouver, BC, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Outdoor Living Extravaganza 2013 by Proven Winners. A gardening seminar held in three cities in North America gives gardeners a chance to learn from Proven Winner experts about new varieties for 2013. Demonstration and talks provided on how to put together "wow" containers and much more from featured speakers such as P. Allen Smith, Gardening Expert and TV Host. The Southeastern Horticultural Society presents their 25th Silver Anniversary Southeastern Flower Show, “What’s Old is New Again” which features fine antiques and magnificent gardens .
