Early reports have Finley out for season

According to ESPN's Ed Werder, Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley may not see the field again this season.

After suffering a spinal cord injury in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns, Finley was admitted to a local hospital and even spent some time in the intensive care unit.

He made great strides in his recovery over the last two days, was able to walk, and will not need surgery, but Werder believes Finley will wind up on the injured reserve list this week.

If Finley winds up on the IR, the Packers will rely heavily Brandon Bostick and Andrew Quarless at tight end.
