Early Mountain Vineyards brings back its barbeque festival

Early Mountain Vineyards is going hog wild for its Second Annual Barbeque Festival to be held from 1 to 4 p .m. on Sun., May 4.

Attendees will enjoy The Barbeque Exchange’s best smokin’ hot whole pig barbeque and all the fixings. Wine from Early Mountain Vineyards and beer from Champion Brewery of Charlottesville will also be available for purchase. In addition, there will be live music from Sarah Lynna & the Misfit Toys.

Located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains near Charlottesville, Va., and approximately a two-hour drive from Washington, D.C., Early Mountain Vineyards is one of Virginia's top wineries. In addition to serving its own estate-grown wines, its tasting room features a selection from award-winning Virginia wineries, including: Barboursville, Breaux, Chatham, King Family, Linden, and Thibaut-Janisson.
