An earlier than expected release date may have been hinted by a computer manufacturer for the potential PC version of the multiplatform video game, “GTA 5.” According to a report by Alive Game Zone on Oct. 16, Hewlett-Packard recently posted a short message regarding the “Grand Theft Auto” series while advertising for the release of the HP ENVY Phoenix 810.
A representative from the company stated the purchasers of the new gaming computer system will be able to “own” their friends with the video game sometime later this month. Rockstar Games, the company that published and distributed “GTA 5,” has not yet officially confirmed that the open-world action-adventure video game will be released for the PC. Recent rumored leaks and reports suggested that the port will be coming out in the near future, however.
The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of “GTA 5” launched last month on Sept. 17. The members of the Rockstar North development team currently has their hands full trying to fix the numerous issues that are plaguing the launch of “Grand Theft Auto Online,” a multiplayer mode that came out on Oct. 1.
