Students, faculty and staff at Eagle Ridge Elementary in Coral Springs geared up for its annual Halloween parade last Friday, and it went off without a hitch. The event took place in the morning October 18 shortly after drop-off, and the kids could not have looked cuter. Even the teachers were donning some pretty nifty costumes.
The event started in the back of the school and was led by principal Marina Sanchez-Rashid, assistant principal Christine Ringler and a few other faculty members. As they "cheered" their way down, they were followed by the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas high school band, which did an incredible job performing. Then, when the children finally made their way around to the front being led by their teachers, parents were lining both sides of the narrow roadway eagerly awaiting for their child to walk by in anticipation of capturing a memorable photo.
