EA Sports UFC to feature special division

With previous MMA titles, women have been underutilized and often used to shamelessly promote the title. EA Sports hope to change that with the new game that is set for developement.

Dana White has stated that it is "absolutely going to happen" and very soon. With EA Sports holding the license of UFC, this news will be a win-win for all involved. Expect the UFC game to launch somewhere in 2013.

One of the stars who could provide a lot of power, is Ronda Rousey. The UFC titles have continued to struggle following the release of UFC 2009 Undisputed. Little changes in the roster and gameplay seemed to have a driving force in the lackluster sales as of late.

EA Sports will have the upper hand by being able to create a product from the ground up and put some of its marketing genius to work. With the possibility of adding a women's division, this should put some more force behind the game. What do you think? Are you exciting for the new division?
