EA Sports and Tiger Woods have reached an amicable end to their partnership on the publishers annual golf game.
EA Sports revealed on their blog, titled "The Beat", that the Pro golf star and AAA publisher have split ways after a long standing partnership.
"We’ve always been big fans of Tiger and we wish him continued success in all his future endeavors," said VP and GM of Golf with EA Sports, Daryl Holt.
Holt continued in his post, "Moving forward, we will continue to work with the PGA TOUR exclusively to create groundbreaking golfing titles and our partnership remains strong."
The blog also revealed a comparison screen shot of current gen graphics and the new "work-in-progress", next gen title. Nothing explicit is said about features or options in the next PGA game from juggernaut EA Sports, but the mention of enhanced customization and choice leaves EA open for upcoming announcements.
The article also confirms that mobile versions will be available of the next PGA title, "EA SPORTS is committed to creating a new golf experience that leverages the best technologies across EA to deliver a stunning and immersive game for mobile and next generation consoles."
EA has not confirmed any release date or specifications for the upcoming game, but tells consumers, "We'll have more news soon."
