EA's 'UFC' gets release date and pre-order bonus

A picture of a promo has leaked on the internet for the new UFC game from EA Sports. According to All Games Beta Twitter page, there exists a retail promo that gives the release date and the pre-order bonus for the game. According to the information, the game is due out June 17, 2014 for PS4 and Xbox One. The picture leaked over the weekend, and EA has since confirmed that Bruce Lee is the mystery character for the game. Pre-ordering UFC will grant you access to Bruce Lee. EA has not confirmed a release date yet, however.

Creative Director, Brian Hayes, and Art Director Ian Lloyd discuss why they went with Bruce Lee. This information can be viewed here. They have went in detail to bring Bruce Lee to life in UFC. Ian Lloyd had this to say:

This does not just look like Bruce Lee. It is Bruce Lee. The way he carries himself, his fighting stance, his rippling physique, devastating speed, signature strikes and accompanying yells, whoops and shrieks.

We have summoned this pinnacle of human strength, speed and spirit into our world and it has truly been an honor and a career highlight for us to do so.
