Muhammad Wilkerson, Damon Harrison, Eric Decker and D’Brickshaw Ferguson were named as the top four players on the New York Jets in the upcoming “Madden NFL 15” video game, Electronic Arts revealed on their official site yesterday.
Despite being rated 78 as a team overall, Gang Green defense is one of the best in the NFL. Wilkerson, who is rated a 93 in “Madden 15,” led the Jets with 10.5 Sacks in 2013. While Harrison only had one Sack all season, his 66 tackles made him one of the premier run stoppers in the National Football League and earned him an 88 overall rating.
On offense, both Decker and Ferguson were rated an 88 overall as well. Decker had 87 catches and 11 TDs last season with Denver, while Ferguson continues to be one of the best offensive lineman in football.
Although the Jets defense is represented well in the team’s top four in “Madden 15,” EA Sports likes what they see in the Jets offense.
“J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets! Any team with Michael Vick as a quarterback option and Chris Johnson at running back is an automatic contender in Madden,” EA Sports said on their official website. “The issue here is that newly acquired Eric Decker is your only proven wide receiver. Jacoby Ford could be exciting but is currently buried in the depth chart.”
“Madden 15” is set for an August 26 release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home gaming consoles.
