Among the fighters announced are favorites Frank Mir, Forrest Griffin and Chuck Liddell as well as Scott Jorgensen and Cub Swanson.

According to EA, the game’s cover athletes will be Jon “Bones” Jones and Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson.

EA’s UFC game currently has no release date, but will appear on next generation consoles sometime this spring.

Although other details on the game are scarce, it is known that the game will feature the new EA IGNITE engine and will be developed by the same developers who worked on EA’s acclaimed “Fight Night” series.
