E3 2014: Sony press conference list of games

It's that time again where the big three come to together and attempt to inveigle us into buying their products. New games and new tech are shown in a grandiose way in an attempt to razzle dazzle us gamers. Let's be honest: what gamers want are games. So did Sony deliver this year? For the most part, yes. Whereas Microsoft focused solely on games this year, it was Sony that decided to pepper their conference with peripherals and non-gaming items. This was especially true when the worldwide cringing and impatience was heard throughout the gaming community when the Powers rant went live. Without further ado, here's a quick and concise list of the games that were featured in at Sony's E3 2014 press conference.

  1. Destiny
  2. The Order: 1886
  3. Entwined
  4. Infamous First Light
  5. Little Big Planet 3
  6. Bloodborne (aka Project Beast)
  7. Dead Island 2
  8. Devolver Digital
  9. Let it Die
  10. Abzu
  11. Grim Fandango
  12. No Man's Sky
  13. The Last of Us Remastered
  14. Uncharted 4
  15. Arkham Knight
  16. Grand Theft Auto V
  17. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  18. Magicka 2
  19. Far Cry 4
  20. Battlefield Hardline
  21. Disney Infinity 2.0
  22. The Talos Principle
  23. Mortal Kombat X

Some other notes

  • The Destiny beta is out on July 17. It will also be available in a white PS4 bundle on September 9th, 2014
  • The Infamous First Light DLC is stand-alone; meaning that gamers can play it without owning Infamous Second Son
  • Far Cry 4 gives you the ability to play the game with people who don't even own it. Honestly, that sounds too good to be true; there must be some type of catch.
  • PlayStaion Now will enter open beta on July 31 on both PS4 and PS3. PS Now will also be available on select Sony TV's.
  • Youtube will be partnering with PS4
  • Arkham Knight is to feature exclusive Scarecrow missions for the PS4
  • Where were the Vita games?
  • Almost everyone felt that the Powers rant went on for far too long.
  • Where was Shaq Fu 2?!?!
