Every year, on the cusp of the opening of E3's doors, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Sony, and Nintendo traditionally hold major press conferences that lead into their participation in the expo. With the exception of Nintendo, all of these companies held these press conferences today, the day before E3 officially opens its doors.

Here is a summary of what was said at the conferences today for those that don't have time to watch the entire conferences, or want to know if they have something worth looking at:

Microsoft:

Scalebound - Xbox One exclusive revealed, appears to be a monster battle game
Crackdown - Xbox One exclusive revealed, related to Crackdown on the Xbox 360
Sunset Overdrive - Xbox exclusive revealed, comical third person shooter
Phantom Dust - Xbox One exclusive revealed, related to Phantom Dust on the Xbox
Ori and the Blind Forest - Xbox One exclusive revealed, 2D platformer with unique art style
Dance Central: Spotlight - Xbox One exclusive revealed, download only dance game for Kinect
Lara Croft: Rise of the Tomb Raider - First trailer revealed, release date estimated at holidays 2015
Inside - Revealed, first on Xbox, spiritual successor to Limbo
Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha (I am not making that title up)- Exclusive Dead Rising 3 DLC content revealed, arcade style co-op

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - gameplay content was shown, and the release date was given as November 4, 2014
Forza 5 - The Nurburgring racetrack was announced as free for all Forza 5 players today
Forza Horizon 2 - Announced as an Xbox exclusive coming September 30, 2014
Evolve - Gameplay teased and style (4 vs 1) shown
Assassin's Creed: Unity - Gameplay shown, team based co-op revealed
Dragon Age: Inquisition - Premiere content first on Xbox
Fable: Legends - Xbox exclusive, showed off co-op gameplay and playing as the villain
Fantasia: Music Evolved - Mentioned, but no gameplay shown
Project Spark - Game creator, Galaxies and Conker content revealed
Halo: Master Chief Collection - Xbox exclusive, HD and original versions of Halo 1-4, Halo: Nightfall digital series, and Halo 5 beta access, release date November 11 2014

Free to Play - Multiple titles shown in trailer
PlayStation Now - Open as a Beta in the US and Canada July 31 for PS4, with 100 PS3 titles available. PS3 and Vita will be added soon after
Vita - Multiple titles to be released
PlayStation TV - Allows access to PS4 from a second remote television and access to games and services, bundle revealed as well
Powers - Sony digital series about superheroes combined with a crime drama, available in December
Ratchet And Clank: The Movie - Coming to theaters 2015 along with a remastering of the original game
