E-waste recycling events and farmers markets this weekend in Bakersfield

Come rain or shine, this will be a good weekend to be out and about - there are the fabulous farmers markets with lots of healthy locally grown foods.

PLUS there are two fundraising recycle events and even a rummage sale. Get a head start on your Spring cleaning by getting rid of old televisions, old computers and other electronic devices. You can even get rid of old personal documents at the paper shredding portion of the West High School's recycle event. And don't forget those car batteries, rechargeable batteries and large appliances - you can be rid of them, and not fill up our local landfills! The money raised goes to good causes - Stockdale High School Science Club and West High School Viking Regiment Music Program. Support your High School and recycle!
