Dubai is home to some of the highest concentration of horsepower drag cars outside of the United States for good reason. With a demand for high horsepower cars built with quality parts comes a steady flow of some of the best quality high power builds in the shortest amount of time that the drag racing world has experienced. Now, MC-Performance out of Saudi Arabia tuned E Kanoo’s racing R35 Nissan GTR and in result, set the fastest quarter mils run in the Middle East with a 8.74 second quarter mile drag.

The man behind the genius of E Kanoo Racing is Ebrahim Kanoo, the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Bahrain and as such, has garnered him deep enough pockets to start his own race team. E Kanoo racing is synonymous in the Middle East for record setting runs and is known for building some of the fastest Toyota Supra’s, and Nissan GTR’s in that part of the world.
Back to his run. Clearly in the video when the Christmas lights turn green, the Nissan GTR bogs for a second before launching into oblivion. Clearly if he had a fast reaction time, the quarter mile time would be a different story. For now, we’re amazed at how fast some of the builds coming out of the middle east are and can't wait for the next record setting run from E Kanoo racing soon.
