On Dec. 10, 2013, E! Entertainment Television announced that it is airing a special titled “One Direction: Off the Charts,” which premieres Dec. 11, 2013, at 10:30 p.m. EST/PST.

Here is the description of the special from E!: "Hosted by E! News’ Jason Kennedy, we spend time with each member of the band as Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam spill plenty of secrets about life on the road, the fan-demonium that awaits them at every stop, and how they pulled together to co-write most of the songs for their third album. From trying to steal away for a bit of surfing in Australia only to find helicopters and screaming fans awaiting their arrival at the beach, to how they remain grounded amidst fame the likes of which none of them ever expected when they signed on to Britain’s 'The X Factor,' this fab five reveals what matters most to them, what family has taught them, and the power of bonding with mates. Then, in a rapid-fire exchange, the boys respond to a full range of questions from Kennedy, revealing all the fun facts fans want to know, including: Who is the messiest, who spends the most time on their hair, who is the biggest flirt, and who is always late."

The five members of One Direction — Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne — originally auditioned as solo singers on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010, but the show rejected them as solo singers and put them together in a group. One Direction came in third place on the show that year, and has since gone on to become the world's biggest-selling act from "The X Factor."

As previously reported, One Direction's iHeartRadio album release party for "Midnight Memories" )One Direction's third album) was televised in the U.S. on the CW network on Dec. 9, 2013. CW will repeat this iHeartRadio special on Dec. 25, 2013.

As previously reported, "Midnight Memories" is the third consecutive One Direction album to hit No. 1 in several countries, including the U.S. and Canada. The album has yielded several hit songs, including "Best Song Ever," "Story of My Life," "Diana," "Midnight Memories" and "Strong."
