Bob Dylan is scheduled to play three nights at Chicago’s Aragon Entertainment Center (formerly the Aragon Ballroom), according to the Boblinks website. The shows have not yet been officially confirmed on Dylan’s official site.
According to Boblinks, Dylan and his band - featuring Charlie Sexton back on guitar and harmonies -will play October 29, 30, and 31. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. The tickets will be $52.50 (excluding any additional service charges).
The website states that tickets for the general public will go on sale on Saturday, September 12, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. There will also be a pre-sale at 10 a.m. on September 8, through Bobdylan.com. The password is usually posted the morning of the pre-sale.
The Aragon Entertainment Center is located at 1106 W. Lawrence Avenue. The venue holds 4500. Dylan last played the city when he ended his 2007 tour -featuring Elvis Costello and Amos Lee - with a three night stand at the Chicago Theatre. On the final night,October 29, Costello and Lee joined Dylan on stage to sing “I Shall Be Released”.
