Dyeing the river green to celebrate Irish Heritage

The Chicago Journeyman Plumbers Local 130 dyed the river a fluorescent shade of green once again this year for St. Patrick’s Day, a tradition that dates back to 1962.

The plumbers use a “secret formula” to get the river the perfect shade of green which was distributed of a motorboat Saturday.
