On Thursday, Aug. 28, a report surfaced, claiming Burruss could be following in the footsteps of other "Real Housewives" who have appeared, including NeNe Leakes and Lisa Vanderpump. However, an official announcement won't be made until next week.
Reality Tea reported Sadie Robertson, Lolo Jones, Randy Couture, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Kacy Catanzaro had been confirmed for the 19th season, while "country singer Jessie James Decker, Kandi Burruss, and soccer player Tim Howard have been mentioned around the ‘net also."
Rumors first began swirling about Burruss' possible appearance on the long-running dancing competition late last year. At the time, Burruss told fans she'd "love" to be cast.
Last month, "Real Housewives" creator Andy Cohen addressed the rumors during an "Ask Andi" session online. Of the report, he said, "God I think she’d be great on Dancing With the Stars, they would be so crazy not to ask her."
The "Dancing With The Stars" season 19 cast will be revealed on the Sept. 4 episode of "Good Morning America."
