This season we have the eclectic mix of athletes, musicians and TV stars with a couple of surprises. So, without further ado here are the contenders for season 16's mirror ball trophy:
Wynonna Judd the country music star has five Grammy Awards under her belt but can she add the coveted mirror ball to her trophy case? According to Judd this is not the first time she has been asked. "This is something I said I would never do," she said. "They’ve asked me for six years. I’m trying to get back to my original weight of 8 lbs, 15 oz. Because it’s the year of doing things that you’re scared of."
Comedian and actor D.L. Hughley is a pleasant surprise. His vibrant personality should be a welcome addition although only time will tell if he and pro partner Cheryl Burke can make it through the finale.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones has decided to follow in the footsteps of other NFL players Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver bringing his moves to the dance floor. Jones is having a winning year already with a Super Bowl win so we will have to see if this is going to be a trend.
