'DWTS’ pros Derek Hough and Mark Ballas buy a house together

“Dancing With the Stars” pro dancers Derek Hough and Mark Ballas have purchased a home together, according to Feb. 7 report by E! News. The lifelong BFFs and self-described “brothers” split the cost for a $1.275 million Studio City bachelor pad.

Yahoo Celebrity posted pictures of the 3,235-square-foot, mountain-view home, which boasts four bedrooms, four baths, hardwood floors, two living rooms with a shared fireplace, and a huge wraparound deck with an enormous pergola. The house was built in 1962 and hasn’t been on the market in 30 years.

The pro dancers have been best friends since childhood and often refer to each other as brothers. In 2010, Hough told People, “We actually grew up together in London,” and said they were together 24/7 for eight years while growing up. “We know how to make each other mad,” he said.

Ballas has echoed similar sentiments. During an appearance on ‘The Bonnie Hunt Show,” he once said, “We get along like brothers…we fight like brothers. He steals my clothes and ruins them."

Of course, let’s hope their new place also has ample shelving for the brothers’ awards collection. Ballas has two “DWTS” mirrorball trophies, while Hough has five mirrorball trophies and an Emmy.

The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” debuts on March 17.
