Dancing With The Stars made their first of a few announcements on Aug. 13. According to Rumor Fix, the list of professional dancers returning to the ballroom this season was revealed on Good Morning America, and two names were not on the list. Not surprisingly, Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn't coming back. He actually made that announcement at the end of the last season.

Maks said that after winning the Mirror Ball Trophy with Meryl Davis, he was done dancing on the show. He did want to come back and judge, perhaps taking Len Goodman's place, but Len has returned. It's unknown if he has plans to "retire" after this season.

Dancing With The Stars will also be seeing a whole lot less of Tristan MacManus. The ballroom pro will not be returning to the show this season for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani, Karina Smirnoff, and Cheryl Burke will all be back, going toe-to-toe to try and win this season's competition. They will be competing against Witney Carson, newcomer Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, newbies Allison Holker and Keoikantse “Keo” Motsepe, and vets Peta Murgatroyd and Emma Slater.

The names of the celebrities who will be joining the cast will be officially announced on Sept. 4. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, one huge name is set to join the show, and that's Shania Twain. The country star was reportedly in talks to join the show, but it's unclear if she has inked a deal just yet.
