Just days remain before the "Dancing with the Stars" fall 2014 cast will be officially unveiled during the Sept. 4 edition of "Good Morning America." Although nearly every member of the lineup has been tentatively revealed thanks to solid detective work by a handful of reliable spoiler sources, ABC continues to keep the process fun by dropping partnership hints to fans in the form of mysterious photos, including a Sept. 1 image of new pro Artem Chigvintsev and his unnamed celeb.
The image, which was tweeted by @DancingABC, features the 32-year old former "DWTS" troupe member grinning as a woman wraps her arms around his chest. The woman, whose face is not shown, is wearing a long, lacy black skirt and tan dancing shoes. Although Chigvintsev has yet to drop any other hints about his Hollywood-savvy partner, spoiler sources have identified her as actress Lea Thompson, now 53, who is perhaps best known for her role as Lorraine McFly in the "Back to the Future" trilogy.
Other pro coaches have been decidedly less shy when it comes to singing the praises of their new pals. Witney Carson, who was featured in a teaser photo with her celebrity partner on Aug. 30 that showed just the man's fingertips and obscured legs, tweeted her enthusiasm on Aug. 28, writing "My partner is KILLING it in rehearsals! Such positive energy. Love it! #DWTS." If sources are correct, Carson has every reason to be excited, because she's working with "Fresh Price of Bel Air" and Broadway alum Alfonso Ribeiro.
Ten other pairings have also been spoiled prior to the official reveal. They include Val Chmerkovskiy with "Pretty Little Liars" star Janel Parrish, Keo Motsepe with Olympian Lolo Jones, Cheryl Burke with "General Hospital" star Antonio Sabato Jr., Derek Hough with YouTube star Bethany Mota, Karina Smirnoff with mixed martial artist Randy Couture, Tony Dovolani and fashion designer Betsey Johnson, Emma Slater and NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip, Allison Holker and "Mean Girls" actor Jonathan Bennett, Peta Murgatroyd and comedian Tommy Chong, and Mark Ballas and "Duck Dynasty" alum Sadie Robertson.
The only unknown of "DWTS" season 19 entering the cast announcement revolves around Sharna Burgess, who was named the 13th pro after her initial exclusion from the lineup sparked fan outrage. Rumors have suggested a number of potential partners for the talented dancer and choreographer, including perennial guess John Stamos and Hot Chelle Ray's Nash Overstreet, and although many guesses have been dismissed, no confirmation has been provided.
To see who winds up going for mirror ball glory as Sharna's partner and to find out if the spoiler sources were on the mark with the rest of the cast, watch the official "Dancing with the Stars" fall 2014 season lineup announcement Sept. 4 on "GMA." The season premieres Sept. 15.
