With days to go before the official "Dancing with the Stars" fall 2014 celebrity cast announcement, which is set for Sept. 4 during "Good Morning America," spoiler sources are teeming with lineup rumors and speculation. An Aug. 29 post to PureDWTS compiled all of the day's developments, from the identification of yet another celebrity contestant to the first professional/celebrity partner match-ups.
The latest famous face to wind up on the alleged cast list is that of "Fresh Price of Bel Air" alum Alfonso Ribeiro. According to PureDWTS, the 42-year old actor, who portrayed rich kid Carlton Banks on the hit 1990s sitcom and spent time performing on Broadway, will take to the "DWTS" ballroom on the arm of "So You Think You Can Dance" alum Witney Carson.
Although Carson can't reveal his identity to fans, she offered up high praise for her partner via an Aug. 28 tweet that read "My partner is KILLING it in rehearsals! Such positive energy. Love it! #DWTS." The young blonde dancer most recently worked with pop star Cody Simpson during season 18.
The rest of the post teased three additional pairings. Included were two-time mirror ball trophy winner Cheryl Burke and "General Hospital" star Antonio Sabato Jr., all-star season champ Tony Dovolani and fashion designer Betsey Johnson, and season 14 victor Peta Murgatroyd and comedian Tommy Chong.
Nine other celebrities will round out the "DWTS" season 19 cast. Rumored to be competing are fashion video blogger Bethany Mota, "Pretty Little Liars" star Janel Parrish, Olympian Lolo Jones, "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson, "Back to the Future" actress Lea Thompson, and "Mean Girls" actor Jonathan Bennett. Three spots remain for male celebrity contestants.
ABC teased other partnerships via photos posted to Twitter. An image featuring new pro Allison Holker shows her partner from behind, and based on his size and skin color, he could well be Bennett, who is six-foot-two.
Also shared was a photo of Emma Slater with her partner. The image shows only long legs and an arm, but a late-day post from Slater herself from Atlanta that read "My partner? I ADORE him. But you knew I'd say that. Seriously can't wait to show 'Y'all' what I mean tho! You'll fall in love with him too" sparked speculation that she may be working with "The Bachelorette" alum Josh Murray.
