Although the "Dancing with the Stars" fall 2013 cast won't be officially unveiled until the Sept. 4 "Good Morning America" broadcast on ABC, one rumored celebrity participant's sister inadvertently spilled the beans a few days early, according to a Sept. 1 report by PureDWTS.
Per the update, the sister of former "The Voice" social media correspondent, singer and actress Christina Milian posted an Instagram note that read "Since @christinamilian is Gonna ROCK #DWTS I've decided to be her personal Chef/Nutritionist." Although the message was summarily deleted, an eagle-eyed reader took a screen capture and sent it off to PureDWTS.
Milian, 31, first made headlines in recent history when she revealed that she wouldn't be returning for the fall 2013 season of the NBC monster hit "The Voice." Then came reports that she might be a celebrity participant on "DWTS" season 17, and on Aug. 30, news surfaced that she and boyfriend Jas Prince had gotten engaged.
With Milian's participation essentially confirmed by her sister's error, the big question that remains is which of the talented professional dancers will join her in her quest for the mirror ball trophy. It's definitely not Val Chmerkovskiy, per a video posted to the show's official Instagram account on Aug. 30 that clearly identifies "Saved by the Bell" alum Elizabeth Berkley as his partner. It's also not likely to be Tristan MacManus, as early reports have him working with actress Valerie Harper.
With Chmerkovskiy and MacManus eliminated from the possibility pool, Milian's partner must be one of the four remaining male professionals confirmed to be participating in season 17. Names included on the list include Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani, Gleb Savchenko, and four-time show winner Derek Hough.
The "Dancing with the Stars" fall 2013 season begins Sept. 16 on ABC.
