With the official "Dancing with the Stars" 2014 celebrity cast announcement scheduled for the March 4 airing of "Good Morning America" and the pro lineup out, entertainment writer and SheKnows correspondent Kristyn Burtt confirmed the identities of the talented dancers slated to make up season 18's "DWTS" troupe via a Feb. 28 tweet.
The spring 2014 incarnation of the troupe will consist of four members, including two first-timers and two former "DWTS" pro teachers.
The returning dancers are "So You Think You Can Dance" alum Lindsay Arnold, who partnered boxer Victor Ortiz to an eighth place finish during season 16, and Sasha Farber, who placed eighth with the unexpectedly talented "Jersey Shore" alum Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi during season 17.
The new dancers both appeared on different seasons of "SYTYCD." Artem Chigvintsev, 31, made it to week five of the FOX dance competition's debut season in 2005 before moving on to Britain's version of "DWTS," "Strictly Come Dancing." He and partner Kara Tointon won the show's eighth season in 2010. Also scheduled to appear is Jenna Johnson, who competed on "SYTYCD" season 10.
The professional dancers who will compete alongside celebrity partners iare Witney Carson, Cheryl Burke, Emma Slater, Karina Smirnoff, Peta Murgatroyd, Sharna Burgess, Mark Ballas, Val Chmerkovskiy, Henry Byalikov, Tony Dovolani, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Derek Hough.
"Dancing with the Stars" 2014 premieres March 17 on ABC.
