'DWTS 2014': Len Goodman to be replaced by Maksim Chmerkovskiy? Dancer wants job

When Len Goodman hinted on the final episode of “Dancing With the Stars” that he might not be back for the next season, the fans of the reality show were devastated. The judge of the popular dance competition was always the guy who judged based on technique and gave analysis on the performances based on his years of experience. According to the Cleveland Plains Dealer on Friday, the judge alluded to the possibility of him leaving the show.

Apparently, there is already a ready replacement for the judge and he is the current professional dancer and winner of the latest competition. That’s right Maksim Chmerkovskiy is hinting that he wants Len Goodman’s job and he is ready to take it. Talking to Wendy Williams on Thursday, Maksim straight out suggested that he wanted the job. The shocking revelation overshadowed his win with Meryl Davis on the reality show as the interview was all about his ambitions.

The “Dancing With the Stars” professional dancer was a judge once last season and did poorly with his observations. Thinking like a dancer and less like a judge, the viewer’s biggest complaints was that the star wasn't objective and didn't offer advice outside of what the judges already gave. If Len Goodman has taught fans of the show anything, it would be that complimenting the performances just because it was politically correct doesn't always help the dancers.

Fans of “Dancing With the Stars” are really hoping that Len Goodman reconsiders his decision of leaving the reality show. The man might not be as famous as Maksim, but Len definitely adds a wonderful element to the live shows and some of his sayings are very funny.

The fans will need to wait until next season before finding out if Len Goodman returns to the Hollywood set. Hopefully he does and Maksim Chmerkovskiy can head back to the dance floor.
