Dwayne Johnson to star in 'Teddy Bear'

Heat Vision learned yesterday something interesting about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (“Pain and Gain”).

Dwayne Johnson is set to produce a film titled “Teddy Bear” for New Line Pictures, but the source material is slightly unexpected.

Fantasy artist Alex Panagopoulos drew a picture titled “Sweet Halloween Dreams” in which a Teddy Bear is depicted fighting off a monster to protect a sleeping child.

There is hope that the “Teddy Bear” will spawn a 4-part franchise, and Dwayne Johnson is in talks to star in the film (one would hope he would be the voice of the teddy bear), and given what they did recently with a teddy bear in “Ted” I see this being a pretty awesome, and family friendly, live action film.

He will produce alongside his “Journey 2” producers, which is sure to make this a fun little adventure film, and if it is half as epic as the picture is then we are in for a real treat.
