Dwayne Bowe injury news is good for Kansas City Chiefs fans and fantasy football owners. Despite the Bowe injury having him listed as questionable heading into the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns, NFL Network has just stated that he will be playing on Sunday (Oct. 27). According to an updated report from ESPN, he isn't going to let a groin injury keep him from playing in the game.
It is possible that this could slow down one of the better receivers on the team, but he should still get a high number of targets from quarterback Alex Smith. The bad news is that Smith doesn't have a passing touchdown in the last two weeks, showing just how much this team leans on running back Jamal Charles to get things done. If they go to the air, though, that is when Smith might find him for a hookup in the end zone.
Last week against the Houston Texans, he had five catches for 66 yards and he was targeted nine times in the game. Going up against a Browns defense that has allowed seven passing touchdowns in the last two games is also very enticing. While the returns on investment might be hurt a little by the Dwayne Bowe groin injury, he looks to get the start on Sunday and thus becomes a good option to go with in fantasy football leagues.
