Pick of the Week: “Frankenweenie

Directed by Tim Burton, this stop-motion animated horror comedy follows a boy named Victor Frankenstien (Charlie Tahan), who uses science to bring his beloved dog Sparky back from the dead after he is hit by a car. But when the new Sparky misbehaves more than the old one, upsetting Victor’s family and neighbors, Victor must convince them that this monster is still his loyal friend. Available for viewing in 3D. Runtime: 87 minutes. Rated PG for thematic elements, scary images and action.
