DVD Tuesday: get lost in space with 'Gravity', plus 'Thor: The Dark World'

This week’s new DVD and Blu-ray releases are sure to be a real treat for movie fans. Whether you’re getting caught up before the Oscars this Sunday or just want to watch a great movie over again, Best Picture nominees “Gravity” and “Nebraska” are both available this Tuesday. The Marvel blockbuster “Thor: The Dark World” is also out tomorrow. What will you be watching? Pick of the Week: “Gravity

In this thriller directed by Alfonso Cuaron, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney play Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski. Ryan is a medical engineer on her first mission in space, while Matt is a seasoned astronaut. But when a horrible accident at their space station leaves them drifting in space, they must each rely on their own special skills and each other to survive. Runtime: 90 minutes. Rated PG-13 for intense perilous sequences, some disturbing images and brief strong language.
