This Tuesday includes some great new movies on DVD and Blu-ray, including “Wreck-It Ralph”—the film that should have won the Best Animated Feature Oscar last week—and the action flick “Red Dawn”. Read about those and this week’s other new releases below. What will you be checking out?
Pick of the Week: “Wreck-It Ralph”
This animated comedy directed by Rich Moore follows Ralph (John C. Reilly), the villain in a pixilated video game called Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph wants to be as popular as the good guy in his game, Fix-It Felix, so he decides to travel to the modern shooter game Hero’s Duty to win a medal. But when Ralph accidentally unleashes an enemy that threatens to destroy every game in the arcade, Ralph must figure out if he has what it takes to be a true hero. Available for viewing in 3D. Runtime: 108 minutes. Rated PG for some rude humor and mild action/violence.
