One of the most well-received cop movies in recent years, “End of Watch”, comes out on DVD and Blu-ray today, as well as the acclaimed documentary “Searching for Sugar Man”. Pick of the Week: “End of Watch”
This crime drama written and directed by David Ayer stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena as Brian and Mike, two cops who are pursued and marked for death after confiscating money and weapons from a powerful drug cartel. Runtime: 109 minutes. Rated R for strong violence, some disturbing images, pervasive language including sexual references, and some drug use.
