Dutchland’s 2013 season opener

The Dutchland Rollers kicked off their 2013 season with a weekend of bouting in Virginia. The Dutchland All Stars and Blitz faced off against River City in a double header on March 16th. The Blitz took on River City’s Uncivil Warriors during the first half of the doubleheader. The Blitz claimed an early lead with a half time score of 112-54. The Blitz continued to pour it on and took the win with a final score of 213-135 over the Uncivil Warriors. The All Stars then took to the track to battle River City’s A squad Poes Punishers. River City led Dutchland 105-37 at the half. Poes Punishers took the win with a decisive 206-92 victory over the All Stars. Blitz MVP for the River City bout was Salt ‘n DeckHer and All Star MVP for Dutchland was Russian Bayou. The Dutchland All Stars then traveled to take on the Dominion Derby Girls on March 17th. The All Stars tempered their River City loss with a 197-176 victory over Dominion.
