Over the last two days I have been trying very hard to get something out of the Montrose Colo. Courts, government and anyone else I could think of to try and get an update on what is going on with the court case involving Dutch. Although I know that Dutch is not there currently and is not with Animal Control and is alive and well, I do not know and don’t want to know where he is. Finally today, I made some head way with the court, sort of.
This morning I was able to get a court clerk to tell me one little bit of information and at first it did not seem helpful at all but after thinking about it, I think it actually is. She told me that she can not comment on an on going case. The key words here are that the case is on going. That means one of two things, maybe both. Either the Aguilar’s attorney was able to appeal the case and there for it is still open, or there is now a warrant out as the Aguilar’s broke Judge Brown’s order to turn in Dutch. However, I have not turned up anything showing that they are looking for Dutch or the Aguilar’s but then again, would they really make that public? I doubt it.
Please remember that although Dutch is currently safe, the battle is not over. Make sure to share his story and sign and pass along the petitions. With this article you will see a copy of Dutch’s vet report and a recent picture that was sent to me by a source over the weekend showing that Dutch is alive and well.
