I know that after last weeks announcement by Montrose county that you are all anxiously waiting to see what happens next. However, no matter how hard I try I can not get any further comments out of them aside from the fact that they will not comment on current case which is an indication that there is something going on. Interestingly, the county has not pressed any charges against the Aguilar’s for not following Judge Brown’s orders and turning Dutch in to be put down.
Over the weekend I did receive information from a special person. That person will remain nameless, but they will have a direct interest in the case. To protect that person I have removed their name and identifying information from the following quote “------ have advised ----- attorney to proceed with filing, ---- just had to wait a bit to work something out so he wasn't in "doggy jail" through the appeal process as ------ heard that can be so stressful, sometimes fatal, for dogs. ------- haven't heard back about the date yet, but ------- expecting to hear something next week. ------- also contacted another law firm to support ----- existing attorney, so ------ can be in the best possible place for ------ next case.”
Clearly the case is not over and there is still a fight ahead. Don’t forget to sign and share the petitions and share Dutch’s story. Sadly, I am sure that Dutch’s case is not the only one like this in the country and that it has happened before and may happen again.
