Rising country star Dustin Lynch will bring his current winter tour to West Des Moines' Val Air Ballroom (301 Ashworth Road) on Tuesday, February 5. Crawford County will open the show. Doors at the Val Air will open at 6 p.m., and the music will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the concert are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show. They may be purchased at the Val Air box office or online through TicketWeb.
Dustin Lynch grew up in Tullahoma, Tennessee, but moved to Nashville in 2003 to pursue a career in country music. In 2011, Lynch signed with Broken Bow Records, and he released his self-titled debut album the following year. Dustin Lynch rapidly climbed the charts, hitting #1 on the Country and Indie charts and #13 on the Billboard 200. The first single from the album, "Cowboys and Angels", topped out at #2 on the Country chart. The single earned Lynch two American Country Award nominations. The album's second single, "She Cranks My Tractor", is featured in the nearby video.
